Recently, when commenting on the passage of the “Health Care bill” (puke), Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (Democrat from Montana) said, "Too often, much of late, the last couple three years, the mal-distribution of income in American is gone up way too much, the wealthy are getting way, way too wealthy and the middle income class is left behind," he said. "Wages have not kept up with increased income of the highest income in America. This legislation will have the effect of addressing that mal-distribution of income in America." Do you think this is news? Good Lord Almighty above people!!!! This man, who chairs the Senate Finance Committee, has given the most honest and raving endorsement of Socialism we have seen in a long time and who is the only main news source who has picked up? Fox News. Of course, all of the conservative B and C news outlets picked it up from Fox, but not the AP, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, SOB…whatever….you get the idea.

But HERE is BIG BIG news in the mainstream liberal Media. Conservative goddess Ann Coulter had to cancel a speech at the University of Ottawa because of rowdy protesters (Ottawa is in Canada if you liberals want to go get some of that superior health care). So this is news, but it isn’t news when high a ranking Senator espouses Marxism? To be fair, I probably would have criticized the main stream media if they had not reported the Ann Coulter protesters, but my criticism is really aimed at their refusal to carry the comments by the Marxist Senator. By the way, I also learned that almost all conservative icons bring a bodyguard when traveling to college campuses. Yeah, those peaceful, loving liberals don’t have any violent prone idiots in their crowds do they? By the way, still no denouncement of this violence from the left except from the college administrators even though it was college employees that distributed literature that stirred up the crowd.

I could not find this story anywhere in the mainstream media, except for FOX. So I set out to find it somewhere that a liberal could be convinced that Howard Dean actually said this. Ronald McDonald is apparently persuading kids to become fatA liberal, anti-capitalist organization has targeted Ronald McDonald for early retirement. While this may sound like a good lawsuit for age discrimination, Ronald isn't going down easy. Truthfully, I had never heard of this "not for profit" organization until I saw this story claiming that Ronald McDonald is making our kids fat. They claim that it is corporately irresponsible for McDonald's to have a clown like character targeting children. Give me a break. Think about this; how do kids get to McDonald's? I mean, I tend to think of a "kid" (not a goat) as someone under 16, perhaps way under 16. How do they get the super sized double cheeseburgers? Is Ronald hanging around the school yard giving them the first one for "free" and telling them that there is "plenty more where that came from?" Of course, this is not the case. Instead, these kids are carted to McDonald's by their parents who give them money to purchase the obesity causing, government regulated, taxed to the hilt, junk food (by the way, they serve salads…they aren’t too bad either). This is all about taking down another corporate symbol. Much like the 9/11 hijackers targeted symbols of America, these anti-capitalists have targeted a symbol of profit and success.
By the way, when did "corporate responsibility" become a requirement anyway? I mean, sure I understand it isn't right to hurt people for financial gain (or any other gain for that matter…such as political gain), but think about all of the goods and services that exist because of someone’s ignorance or downright stupidity. How many different pieces of exercise equipment are lying dormant in homes across America? They all have very attractive warranties because the vendor knew we wouldn't use it enough to break it. What about the weight loss programs where you buy their food? There is no magic pixie dust in the food. It is discipline packaged in a small proportioned box. Is this corporate responsibility?
By the way, this is the same group of tree hugging wackos that want to outlaw plastic water bottles and replace them with water filters on our taps at home. Have you ever sat through a water filter sales pitch? Yeah, now that's some corporate responsibility! This is a group that is promoting militant environmentalism, while trying to destroy capitalism at the same time. Yeah, there is a big difference between "not for profit" and "anti-profit."

Please….Let Me HelpBelieve it or not, I sometimes receive comments on my blog via the anonymous feedback link. Although I have the option, I rarely post the comments to my blog. Somehow, other blog sites have picked up my posting of the rumored quote from Benjamin Franklin, “When people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the Republic.” As a result, I receive comments from unknown sources about this particular posting all the time. Although the mainstream media would have us believe that conservatives have cornered the market on anger, most of the comments I receive are liberal aligned rants spewing ignorance and hatred from the left. I received a comment the other day that I have to share because it so clearly illustrates the ridiculous arguments from the left. Let’s face it, this is why liberals cannot get a foothold in talk radio or on heads up television. The simple truth is that liberal logic is….well….that is an oxymoron in itself. Liberals have to disguise their message as movies, music, poetry, or news. Any other way just doesn’t work. Unfortunately, these are some of the most powerful outlets in our country. At any rate, here is the feedback along with my commentary:

It’s okay that you are ignorant about these things. This is why you trust my counsel and need me to help you through your ignorance. For starters, while your cute little two tax payer scenario is mathematically correct, it stops there. This scenario is not even close to our federal system of income taxation. In short, even aside from your ridiculous two tax payer example, it assumes no progressive tax. If you do not understand our current progressive tax system (the 2nd point in Karl Marx’ 10 planks of Communism incidentally), you really should seek to understand. Perhaps you have never earned your way through the first tax bracket (notice that I didn’t say “bottom”…man, I am getting way too nice), or maybe you suffer from Wealth Envy, which is not covered under Obama care. In any case, let me know when you are done enjoying all the rides in Fantasyland and you are ready to come over to Realityland. I will be glad to help. No lines…..no waiting (yes, I know it is hard to believe there are no lines anxiously awaiting my counsel).
